News: Google's New Project Fi Deal Could Net You a Free Moto X4
There are a lot of holiday tech deals starting to trickle out as Black Friday approaches. We've already rounded up some of the best deals for Android, iPhones, and headphones, but Google just dropped a big announcement for users of their Project Fi MVNO service. Now through December 17, you can earn yourself a free Moto X4 or Chromecast by referring your friends and family to Project Fi.The process to earn the free hardware is pretty simple. Each Fi user has a unique referral link found inside your Project Fi account on the web portal. Simply copy and paste your referral link onto all of your social platforms, and share with friends and family. If you accrue two or more referrals, you will earn a free Chromecast device. The more you share, the bigger prizes you can earn, with the grand prize of a Moto X4 awarded for seven or more referrals between now and December 17. One of the best parts about this referral program is that it stacks on top of the $20 Fi credit promo that Google runs continuously. With this deal, for each friend you refer to Fi, each of you will receive $20 in credit towards your Project Fi cellular service plan. Google is also adding a charitable component to the challenge, with $50,000 going to charity at the end of the competition. Overall, Project Fi is a great option for users that do not consume a lot of data. Plans start at $30 a month for voice and text, with each addition GB of data costing $10. In addition, at the end of each month you get credit for the data you didn't use, a win-win situation! With this new holiday deal, it's a great time to try Fi for the first time, or refer your friends and earn some sweet prizes!Follow Gadget Hacks on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and Instagram Follow WonderHowTo on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+
